YWRC - "Sit On It!" 2012

Here's a mock-up of the bench we're submitting for this year's Young Women's Resource Center Sit On It! event being held on March 31 here in Des Moines. Thanks to Christina Jarck for allowing us to contribute to the live auction for a fourth consecutive year. See you all there.

McCoy-Garrett table

This table was built last fall for Daniel Hyland Interior Design and belongs to Iowa state senator Matt McCoy and Dan Garrett. 1/4" steel in statuary bronze powder. Both Daniel and I were very, very pleased with this piece.

Roth Residence railing

2" sq. posts, 1/2" sq. solid pickets, 1 1/2" top rail. The top rail is removable so as to be replaced with a 2" OD brass handrail in the future. Satin black powder-coat finish.

Punch the clock

Thanks to Laura with The Rusty Pumpkin for the sweet time clock. I was able to fit some inked ribbon on the old bobbins, and she works like a champ again. Declan was put above of the clock to make sure everyone punches it...

Distracted...

It's been a great year for Factor II Fabrication. We've grown, matured and made new friends and clients...and are ready for a short break.

I haven't been on my snowboard in years...YEARS!!! I don't know why. But I'm rearing to go so bad I feel like I'm 14-years-old again - pining for snowfall every night...
